41,336,440 points in Asteroids scored!
Monday night will go down in history as one of the most important days in gaming. As of 10:18pm, on April 5th, 2010, we have a new high score champion in Asteroids. Seattle’s locksmith John McAllister passed the 1982 world record for Asteroids, piling up an astonishing 41,338,740 points on a 1979 Atari classic arcade machine, after 58 hours in a row.
Congratulations, Mr. McCallister!!!
